Guildex - The Elder Scrolls Online Guilds Index
The Purpose of this Site
This site is intended to provide a central database of guilds along with important information such as the server they are on, their approximate member count, and their gameplay focus.
We are not a social network and do not provide any means of direct communication with guilds, nor do we process applications, firstly because guilds usually already have their own websites and means of applying to or contacting them, and secondly because we want this site to remain as simple as possible.
Sign Up to add your guild and/or alliance. All guilds and alliances will be checked and approved by a moderator.
Any feedback/suggestions are more than welcome.
Thanks,
Dark
FAQs
Q: Can I bump my guild?
A: Updating a guild profile (with or without changes) will bump it to the top of the list, however various hidden checks are in place to prevent a guild continuously bumping a guild to the top.
Q: How up to date is the is the guilds list?
A: Guilds that have not been updated in some time will be asked to return to the site and confirm their information is up to date. Those that don't respond are removed from the listings. Beyond that there's not much else that can be done without being able to pull guild data from the games directly; which is not possible for any of the games we support.
Q: How are my contact details used?
A: User information (e.g. email addresses) will not be passed on to third parties, and we will only send out emails related to keeping the database up to date and free of inappropriate content. No direct contact is enabled through guild profiles (website and in-game names of leaders/officers should be provided for points of contact). You can add email addresses to the About section at your own risk.
Q: Will you add support for Game X?
A: If enough people request a game to be supported, we'll certainly consider it. It's not particularly difficult to add additional games, but we'd need there to be a reasonable amount of interest.
Q: My guild was added by someone else, can I be given ownership of the entry?
A: If a guild is marked as inactive, it can be claimed by someone else. A button will appear on the dormant profile when you're logged in, allowing you to claim it. If the profile is still active, you can use the feedback form to request an ownership transfer, but you'll be asked to provide some evidence that you actually represent the guild in question.
Q: What does PvX mean?
A: PvX just means both PvE and PvP.
